I believe most of us felt this way at some point when first hearing them, but to be honest, in time I totally fell in love with Tommy's vocals. Unique, and oddly charming!

They were certainly an acquired taste for me. I'm still not convinced he's a great vocalist, but I find them charming and fit the sound after exposure

I don't even think the vocals themselves are uniquely bad or unlistenable - they're just mixed WAY too loudly and cut through the rest of the mix in a very jarring and unpleasant way. Which is a shame because, as has been previously noted in this thread, the production is otherwise stellar.

This is pretty cool and will probably end up getting bumped to a 4 for me soon. Agreed on the vocals not being my thing to start with though. Hopefully they'll grow on me though because I straight up love this from an instrumental standpoint. Gonna go back and check out their previous stuff also

His vox are so nice! Surprised to learn so many people are less happy by them. Nicely nerdy, which fits enormously well with the fantasy/adventure theme, especially on the first two.
