"Kinda love everything except hugz but it isnt that bad tbh"
Hugz is a little repetitive but i think it as very vintage Placebo sound, i really feel like it could of been on the Meds album. Its one of my favourites.

I think I loved so much the Bitter End as a kid I am honestly shocked I never listened to one disc by them. Oh well, I am digging pretty much the whole discog now, this was an eye opener. very enjoyable

I also loved that song and was the first Placebo track I really got into...but I ended up with a copy of Sleeping With Ghosts in my CD player and it all went from there!

I think Brian is an underrated lyricist but when you start thinking of lyricists the first thing it comes to your mind in terms of great lyrics is probably Damon Albarn or Jarvis Cocker

Jarvis is def the best lyricist from 90's britpop but idk about him being an all timer
And idk about Brian being underrated but I appreciate him more for being relateable than "good"

Saw them the other night and they played most of this. Songs go harder live, much more beefier too

this is really good, but i feel like the 2 before it are, at least to a degree, kinda unfairly maligned - not that they're necessarily incredible albums (& i'll say now, the singles from each were essentially the worst songs) but there was a pretty good amount of solid Placebo material on them
that being said I do agree this is probably their best since at least Meds - sad to see SWG getting mostly ignored or tossed off in here too. 2nd or at LEAST 3rd fav for me
