^ pretty much agree with Doof's take above, except I think this album is a fair amount better than just okay.
also I have a real love for BMM as I was stuck in alone in a car with nothing to listen to but a cassette of that album on a 15 hour drive, so it's kind of part of my formative musical psyche now...

T-Pain song is the best here. it’s interesting melodically and has good energy. most of the rest of this sounds like rap albums I’ve already heard hundreds of times. when rap is really good it’s amazing but it’s crazy how you can feed people the same rap album 1000 times and they will say it goes hard and comment three fire emojis every time

I am amazed by the quality and cohesion of the album after so many years on their backs. Wow excellent job by the band.

This is getting better with repeated listens - even Hugz has grown on me once I accepted the Placebo-ness of the lyrics. Prodigal Son and Surrounded by Spies are up there with peak Placebo.

Surprised by how good this is. There's a maturity to Molko’s voice this time that I am really liking. Definitely their best since Meds

The 4-song stretch from The Prodigal to Sad White Reggae is better than any 4-song stretch on any Placebo album ever.
There - I said it.
