I can tell some of the slow dirgey tracks are gonna take some time to really hit but goddamn “Hard Times” is just incredible.

Also, the lyrics in “Strangers” are seriously fucked up.

Dooooooo it Dewi!
Gotta say though, it feels a bit wrong to be causally enjoying and hyping this album up due to how heavy much of the lyrical content is.

We love to see it.
Preacher’s Daughter definitely has some flaws in length/pacing of some tracks so I’ve dropped my hype 5 to a more realistic 4.5, but generally I’m loving it and am currently structuring my whole life around opportunities to listen to it.

Preacher's Daughter is outstanding. A House in Nebraska is already one of the best songs of the year.

…and I’m back to a 5 for Preacher’s Daughter. Incredible.
“Sun Bleached Flies” into “Strangers” is such a great closing duo.
And if it’s meant to be, then it will be… ;_;

aight yeah, I need to check this, but Preacher's Daughter is an insta 5 for me

Settled on my rating for this, which is very good (and God's Country is amazing).
The LP, on the other hand, is something else entirely. 'Ptolemaea' legitimately scares the fucking shit out of me.

Yeah, nuts
Even if it doesn’t seem many others really clicked with this one like I do I’m glad I built some hype/awareness for Preacher’s Daughter (and that it delivered on it).

It’s absurd how huge of a step up Preacher’s Daughter is

I think the golden age ep was better than this one. Mainly for "Head in the Wall" and "golden ages". I'll give em both another spin each before moving on to the album.

Those two tracks are really great for sure, “Head in the Wall” especially is one of her best songs. The LP is more like Golden Age and the second half of this so you may enjoy that more.
