Nice, that one is indeed so great. The first single is more like the ”Unpunishable” here but the latter two she’s dropped have more of the widescreen heartland vibe of “God’s Country” though neither is quite as immense as that. Doesn’t seem like track lengths are available yet but I’m hoping for another long track or two in that vein. It’s looking to be an epic album no matter what though, idk if I’ve ever been this hyped for a debut LP. I’m tempted to play the singles more but I want save myself for the album so I’m just sticking with a few spins each for now.

Slightly mixed feelings on first listen (threw a hype 5 on it anyways though). It’s definitely different than I expected from the singles, she really went all in on the drawn out, minimal side of her sound and less of the pop stylings she flirted with here. Definitely like a lot of it though (aside from the singles, “Hard Times” and “Thoroughbred” are early favorites, loving the Americana vibes in those) but need time for it to sink in.

I'm hyping a bit, first listen was actually at least a 4 I'd say but it definitely feels like a grower. It's a massive, haunting piece of work in any case. "Ptolemaea" is insane.

yeah this is a great EP but Preacher's Daughter is the one
pretty much an instant 4 with plenty of room to grow. I loved how much "Televangelism" was able to accomplish without any vocals and "Thoroughfare" is simply stunning
