It just feels so plastic and weak compared to what he's capable of.

Besides "4eva Is a Mighty Long Time", his studio albums have never been as good as his mixtapes. None of them are bad, but I don't know what the fuck he was thinking on this one. Definitely the worst thing he has released.

The constant obsession internet rap fans have with 4eva is a Mighty Long Time will never make sense to me. It really wasn't that amazing compared to what he was already making, I go back to that the least of all his projects.

@Mars The question is, why are people still bothering to compare his stuff with Mighty Long time 5 years later? They just cant let go of that one album for some reason. It's even brought up in your first paragraph

Because it's a pretty awesome album with a ton of variety, I think it's excellent. More importantly, the things it goes right are entirely absent here, which is the big issue here; it was a transition of sounds where the heart was ripped out.
