Pretty sure the album's eventually gonna end up around the 3-3.2 range once the dust has settled, at least if the singles are any indication

Yeah I'm interested to know what that avg is once its been out for awhile. I'll give it an honest chance because I like Avril, but I really have NOT been a fan of either single.

On one hand I would be happy to hear her return to her pop punk and alt rock roots... but the timing of this album is extremely suspicious to me, considering how many people have already been hopping on the pop punk revival trend because of MGK and Travis Barker

@Koris - That's pretty much my thought exactly. Considering her last album was meant to be a mature and sincere effort, this return to her roots comes across as a bit disingenuous.

I expected the worst. This is a solid album, though designed for streaming: many songs are under 3 minutes, although sonically they should be under 4-5 minutes. Avril has charisma.

Just checked it out, and it's pretty good. Definitely strikes me as damage control after the last album, but I guess "pop punk" Avril is better than "bland ballad" Avril anyway

I will always love her.

But this record is still a disappointment.

So is the high user score for this album ironic like 'Limp Bizkit Still Sucks', or did Avril Lavigne just magically begin to write good music for the first time in her career?

Neither, because I’m pretty sure it’s a bunch of one-off stan accounts this time around

I expected this to have a 2.5 avg with 10 votes max, glad to be wrong. This is very very fun so far.

hmm yeah this could be a lot worse

some of these songs legit sound like they belong somewhere between 2000-2005 and I can bet behind that vibe
