Damn good review Ben. I checked a bit of this the other day but didn't do it for me. I could hear it was good, just not my cup of tea at times.

>No you shouldn't
Yeah as far as I can see our tastes don't really overlap. So I'll just settle for the literary qualities.

Hey man if you like the words then I like your face hugs and kisses I hope we meet again some day when our tastes align.
Ta Dewi. It grows on you, if its any incentive to give it another go. Really blooms on speakers too.

The good bits were really good, but the length was a bit intimidating.
Hmmm alright my friend I'll give it another whirl.

@johnnyboi Challange accepted. I'll do it on SL1 as well, m8. See you in 2028.
Ngl, it literally took me 3 days of on and off attempts with a +5 black night sword and an immense lack of honour to finish that fight. Nothing has given me such a hard time in a from soft game since perhaps ludwig/orphan or every other boss in sekiro.

@Evreaia ye idk man, as much as I did it primarily as a little factual footnote to myself (cause that it how I first listened to this album) and cause I thought it'd be fun to write, I also genuinely feel there are good comparisons to be drawn here, though I'm not sure my rev actually did a good job of highlighting them, but eh

Not sure I get all the Dark Souls stuff minus the choir and strings, but yeah this is pretty unique. The through-composed classical parts are gorgeous, and it almost has a bit of a screamo element to some of the heavy parts. The staccato strings overtop the screams, i'm not sure I've heard anything done quite like that. I find it a bit crazy they are doing a pay what you want business model for this on Bandcamp. Hired orchestras, choir, flautist, etc. plus commissioned artwork by Adrian Baxter

@JohnnyoftheWell i'm not up to date if others were revealed since the network test, but definitely the enchanted knight - because, i'm a coward. and 100 physical shield protection.
