I havent listened to this since release but i honestly might rate it lower if i gave it another listen, i had fun with it when it came out but i find all the interludes/skits really annoying. Its clear shes going for a more mainstream sound than her earlier work which is fine but there are definitely some really forgettable moments on this

the songs are too short, the intermissions are annoying, the excessive autotune/vocal effects are annoying, most of the guest spots detract more than they contribute. It all feels too light and fluffy and disposable. The polar opposite of what I like about Twigs. This is honestly a 1.5 for me. Nothing here hits me at all

From the hate this album receives I would assert that many people on sites like this need to recalibrate the way they approach music which may be difficult or challenging, and essentially very different to the usual stuff they like or are used to. The problem is that most people are raised on commercial conventional material and lack any sense of wonder or a desire for exploration when experiencing something outside this comfort zone in which they have encased themselves.
