'I guess I can kinda see the Muse comparison?'
Only on Gala, the spacey sounds and his vocal delivery in tandem really is reminiscent. It's been a while since I heard a decent Muse song so it's welcome honestly, even just for the novelty.
Overall I'm not really sold on this, probably just isn't my cup of tea. Inoffensive though.

This is losing steam, lame. Keep the hype train afloat dudes, it's looking bleak tho, rip

the muse comparison is not apt AT ALL to me, this gives me big TDH Act IV and V vibes which makes complete sense why I would love this in which case

Gala is 100% Absolution vibes. Go listen to Blackout then Gala. Definitely my favorite on this album. But I agree that repeated listens haven’t done too much for me so far. But there is no bad Owel music.

hmmmm I really liked Paris but its biggest flaw was homogeneity -- it had amazing dynamics but it built to its climax the same way too often
This has more variety but it's missing the dynamic highs that made Paris so good
Combine the variety here with Paris's dynamic peaks and valleys and you've got a masterpiece on your hands
