Really good album. Bring Back the Sound needs more love, maybe a top 10 Failure track

Well, this is the interesting case of a band from "my time" (I´m 46) which I never cared much about back then, and is totally clicking for me now.

Looking for similar bands like Hum I was lead here. Can’t wait to listen.

I don't think they're that similar, well not any more, Failure have moved on. Although I haven't listened to Hum's 2020 record (Inlet).

They're similar in that they were both criminally slept on in the 90's

I think a lot of people like both bands but Hum are not that similar to Failure, I’d say Nothing are more similar to Hum if you want another rec.

I didn't realize it was that Failure

That Melon hasn't reviewed this album yet, it makes me MAD

For me this album just clicked instantly, surprised they topped In the Future. Prob tied with Fantastic as their best release.
Also @teamster check Shiner's Lula Divina, Cave In's Jupiter/Antenna, Hopesfall's Arbiter and Castor's Tracking Sounds Alone. If you like Hum, you'll prob like all of those.

Oh also the very slept on album Nemo - In Stereo. Same era and has the same tones/vibe as Hum.

band seem to attract people who say Nirvana are trash and then... they sound like a lifeless version and very average, but just not well known, wow selling point
