The unanimous love for the t/t makes me happy. Lets Me Down and See You Again are also bangers on the melodic side. [2]
don't forget man on fire. holy shit that one rips.

and as far as people saying theres no standout track here, its obviously the t/t.
Happier? is the song that this record will always have as a highlight.

I wish the vocals were a bit louder in the mix on this album. I feel like they oftentimes get drowned out by the guitars.

This slaps. But I can't shake the feeling that this and Spiritbox' album are almost identical at times haha. Also "Void" isn't amazing but the album needed a more soaring chorus like this. Most of the time it's the softer, soulful pop thing. It's a nice change. Also I like the t/t but it's not my favorite like most people here. I was never the biggest fan of VIA so that might explain it a bit. "Malevolent" and "Bend" are my picks for now.
One gripe I have is that M&M are rarely (never?) harmonizing with each other. It's always a back and forth which starts to become repetitive after a while. This was the first the band had 2 clean vocalists and they didn't use it to its full potential I feel.

Pixelate really should have made it on here. Would have fit perfectly between FBX and Malevolent.

I had to try really hard not to fall asleep. Their previous album at least had some standouts, this was one of this albums were I couldn’t pinpoint where one song ended and another began

Pullin Shades and Finite are great. Myke really came in and made Gus irrelevant with these songs.

the reason some of you may hear spirit box in this is Dan Braunstein produced both Eternal Blue and some of Happier? (Raad was the main producer i believe)
|

Intertwined vocals would definitely be a step up. Them harmonies could be the second coming of the fuckin Beach Boys
