Based on the lyrical content of his Yung Yogi songs... yea his lyrical ability seems pretty bad. To be honest I've never paid much attention to the lyrics from this band so I can't say what's good or bad from any particular band member.
But in terms of the tone/uniqueness of the harsh vox, I think I prefer Gus over Myke. Obviously Myke is a lot better when it comes to cleans though.

i mean this is not a band where lyricism is their primary appeal anyway tbf but also:
"daaaaaamn i see you with her theres nothin more than i would like to put this gun up to your faaace" (i like that song in spite of that btw but lmao)

Yea lol that's why I'm generally OK with not picking up on the lyrics. Their song that featured Pouya was particularly cringe.

Myke is also easily 10-15 years older than everyone else in that band tbh, dudes been around a lonnng time so he’s had time to hone his technique

I love Bend and Get Enough too, but the Djenty heavy stuff is soooooo boring
