It'll be interesting to see where they take this project next. I'm not crazy about Cave In, so the Cave-In-ish tracks are the ones I like the least. I can understand how people who like that aspect enjoy this more than I do. I was hoping this would be more in the direction of the title track and Coil, which I think are fantastic, and tracks such as Eve, Wretched World, Cruel Bloom and the slow arrangement of Last Light they played in the Blood Moon shows in 2016, rather than the sort-of conventional rock direction they took. I love doomy, gothic Converge/Chelsea more than alt rock/80's metal Converge/Chelsea, but it's a great album nonetheless.

Yeah the bottom tier is very similar to mine, good call
I'd say Viscera (apart from the odd choice for it's opening salvo), Tongues and Lord of Liars are ahead of Coil, but Coil has grown on me. Blood Moon rules.

It is an alright album, but nothing special for me. When I heard the opening song, I had high expectations, but it did not deliver. Few songs caught my attention: Blood Moon, Lord of Liars, and Coil.
Usually it takes time for an album to grow on me, so we will see.

Lord of Liars is one crazy jam, my favorite for sure. I'm with Wildcard, Crimson Stone, Blood Moon are also coming close.

Crimson Stone is straight up a top ten Converge song, maybe even top five for me. The best parts of every band/musician/whatever coalesce into one of the most stunning songs Ive ever heard. What a perfect track.
Only one week since this thing dropped and I’m ready to call it song of the year.

Viscera of men has the only pure Converge 10 seconds here. Converge's writing, if there is one, are mostly subdued to Chelsea's and Brodsky's writings. I'm thouroughly enjoying the album tho.
Now Bannon said these guys are part of Converge now, so I'm def curious about how they all gonna tour.
