i like the new record but i feel like similar to this its another instance of "lets release all of the best songs as singles ahead of time", with maybe the exception of offworlder

which is frustrating bc antimatter through annunaki is one of the best runs in their whole discog. think the next time they drop a record im j not gonna jam any of the singles in advance lol

yeah ive generally tried not to post heavener. the only reason i even checked antimatter is bc it was pretty polarizing lmao but i loved it, and i already saw them play annunaki live so there was no real chance of getting that with fresh ears

Same here. Curious what these guys have cooked up honestly. This one and the last one were okay, but not my favorite.

there is a lot of the last two northlane lps on the new one. antimatter is the best of it. dreamwalker unfortunately does not fare as well and is a little too nu for its own good (dreamwalkers >>>>), but mostly i think its done pretty well. they approach it in a much heavier way that i think helps them not lose their own identity, but the moments i'm not as sold on yet are when they are playing it more straight and not really riffing

its highs are phenomenal. every time ive tried rejamming it ive ended up jamming offworlder like 3 or 4 times in a row lol

The one-two punch of Offworlder-Collider is crazy and the stretch from Antimatter-Anunnaki is even better

Euphoria and Dreamwalker are the only ones that dip for me, but they're growing on me; and the closer is getting better with every listen

finally jamming through headphones (bc the singles initially scared me re: the mixing lmao collider was so muddy in particular) and it sounds m u c h better than when songs were coming out standalone thank god

not really sure why that is lol but praise be regardless
