I hope it's better too. This is a great transition album for sure. I absolute love the t/t, but Imagination's t/t is even better.

I don't think blind guardian will ever be better than what they were on this album or Tales from the twilight world. I still think their new stuff is really good and I am looking forward to the new album. I am hoping the rest of the album is better than the single they just released.

So far, I'm pretty disappointed as it sounds uninspired and gets boring at times. It never really gets going and I had to 'work' at listening to the whole thing. I hope it grows man.

I read that there's a lot of stuff going on in terms of layers, structures, etc. so this might be the case. I think that up until now they haven't released a bad album in terms of quality. It's a matter of taste which era of theirs one prefers. So I really hope it's a grower.
