I like these guys a lot but am I the only one that finds the vocals pretty monotonous? Definitely the weakest link of their albums for me by far.

It's not the monotony of the vocals, but the vocals themselves are for me the weakest part of these guys. They've always sounded like someone learning how to growl, and they've always just fallen short of a convincing sound. This album is no exception

Solid shit, as always with this band, love the Opeth vibes in Sweep of Days but even right of the bat, with the first song, you see is going places. Gotta listen to it more but it's really solid.
