You can try to bribe Jom or Sowing, but in the meantime you can always 4.5 it ;)

Yay, another review! Pretty addictive album.
I never noticed it before, but the bass does so much delicious work here.

The rhythm section benefited the most from the 'fat' production, especially in the closing track.

Okay yes, this is their best album, and Much More Was Lost is itching ever closer towards to overtaking Countless Skies as the best closer

Indeed. I have concluded that the music was a little better on Vessels, but the production is a little better here.

Valence @ 4:50 for the next minute and some change. Love that section. That song is a highlight for sure.

I think Vessels is better too and is one of my favorite all time albums but this goes up a fraction every listen

Vessels is indeed a special album. The band transcended the genre with that one.

It has such a great flow, feels somewhat like one long song. This one is more about moments. Lots of moments.

That’s it. Two stellar moments of which are the end of Focus and start of Hidden Window. Album comes together beautifully as well

I have always felt that Be'lakor's music is built of segments (moments). What separates Vessels from other albums, in my opinion, is its almost metaphysical atmosphere.

What sets Vessels apart from this is its incredible consistent songwriting throughout. Coherence has its big moments (such as that godly outro to Much More Was Lost), but also a couple of duds.

also i love how a pale imitation of The Drapery Falls like Sweep of Days still works so well when belakor do it. becuz well, belakor 😎 their attention to melody and coherent songwriting is second to none

Again right on. Sweep of Days is very Opeth, and very Be’lakor at the same time. I like instrumentals but much prefer vox

Vessels may have this on some fronts, but these riffs fuck the shit out of any Be'lakor to date
