This band is better as a nostalgia act.

i don't get what you mean by that
do you mean they're better off playing the hits everyone knows?
do you mean that this nostalgia-banking shitpost album is somehow their peak?
or do you mean that you're only comfortable enjoying trve art when it's meme zeitgeist approved?

Still can’t believe this is what we got instead of Stampede. Lame!

They absolutely could make something that rivals or surpasses previous albums again, if they just buckled down and did it. Maybe not in terms of production value, but absolutely in terms of musicianship. I wouldn't write them off as has-beens.
Wes had already evolved into a 6th dimensional axe wielding machine elf by Gold Cobra. Stampede would've shaken the fabric of the universe with its power level. The world simply was not ready for those riffs.

@Frozenfirebug Not to yuck anyone's yum as this is only my opinion but I just think this is a young man's music. I dont like Limp Bizkit ironically or anything I am a genuine fan. I just feel this new stuff is a bit lacking in energy. Plus I dont like modern production anyway (especially on the drums) so I was never gonna like it as much as the old albums.

I can't be the only one who finds it amusing that Fred, of all the people in the band, is the biggest stickler of the material
