I have seen LS dunes live twice and while I love the record, I was not a fan of their live show.. Green seems OFF onstage. Hope he is doing okay.

It honestly made me a bit sick, I was at a festival so I actually just left to watch a different band halfway through.



The only other time I have felt uncomfortable like that from an artist was a very drunk connor oberst ranting, slurring words and talking shit to his band members in between songs.

Okay so yeah I watched a live video and it was downright depressing, and EXTREMELY obvious Anthony is fucked up. Have lost so much respect for the other dudes in L.S. Dunes

so i just saw him do a solo in NJ and he was definitely not on anything. was just a normal guy doing an acoustic show. he was especially open with talking about his addiction too so idk, not saying i'm an expert and obviously one night doesnt mean anything



i hope he gets help if he's still going through it but idk, i feel like for dunes, they're all in their 40s or whatever and with kids, I'd like to think they wouldn't be condoning that or worse enabling

Doesn't seem like he is firing on all cylinders from what i have seen of him live. Withdrawals/just going through it could be it.

Damn. Hopefully exhaustion from touring. But I wasn’t there and haven’t seen the videos.

Coming from a guy who struggled with drugs and alcohol for 30 years (started early), I hope he’s ok. But I also know all too well how easily you can just give in, then the switch is flipped and it becomes a really serious, difficult struggle to get back. I think you only truly understand if you’ve been there, as it’s almost otherworldly how deep this shit can take hold if you’re an addict or alcoholic.

Didn’t notice they had combined both EPs on Spotify but I’m glad they did. I remember really liking both but I’m gonna relisten. Surprised that the second EP hasn’t even been reviewed!

How do others feel about this album/eps in comparison to their other work?

Also, I fucking LOVE that LS Dunes record. Really blew me away went it came out, didn’t leave my “CD player” (as they used to say) for a good month or two.

Absolutely. That’s when it’s been most noticeable to others in my experience. Because if you’re an addict constantly taking something, your tolerance goes up and you largely just seem like “yourself” (aside from especially crazy amounts/combinations, or just emotional outbursts—those tend to be worse if you’re an alcoholic).
