At last we have a real apocalypse, so Dani should feel free to sing about the specifics.

Wormwood’s new record also explores these subjects. And I say good on ‘em

Yeah, apocalypses are welcomed in the metal community. Lots of bands will have excellent inspiration.

Yes! They fill a very specific niche.

I love the way Hawks turned up to rate this first (a 5/5 obvs, pre-release) and hasn't returned to join in with the festivities. This must've be a proud day for the fella given the recognition CoF are now getting. Like seeing your child grow up and achieve excellence in the face of adversity... I imagine.

look i'm just saying it isn't a very good lyrical theme i like the album and everything

also i think in general it is probably less nuanced to make a pseudo-environmental message and then basically make it disinformation. i am not really bothered as much as aluktodolo but strictly speaking they're right

Not the best source for that kind of information though, holding them accountable for 'disinformation is a bit much. Maybe people should do their own research instead of automatically believing everything they're fed? Just a thought.

Sure but I think this band has a reasonably large audience, a lot of them younger people and teenagers getting into extreme metal. I think it is at least slightly irresponsible if not just lazy to have basically botched messaging on here. Also it's not like extreme metal has been unable to have environmental messaging (a lot on classic thrash/dm albums, cattle decap more recently)

it's in that awkward realm of being quite specific and also wrong

Look at Dani causing existential and environmental debate!!!

I think he would be chuckling heartily.
