lol yeah part of it might be that i played the shit out of nja when it came out but revisiting their records i just don't like it as much as the rest. i also got a soft spot for gutter phenom and big dirty from middle/high school days

i've always felt NJA was Big Dirty part two, with highs that aren't quite as high. Still slays though.

No Son of Mine

Pigs is Pigs

Cities and Years

We'rewolf

INRIhab

A Gentleman's Sport

Imitation

All absolutely slay. twist my arm and its either BD or Hot Damn that I'd stick with if forced to choose one.

i think they hit a unique sound on big dirty that they dont ever hit again... it's their most "southern" sounding. got the best grooves, funniest and most memorable lyrics from Keith imo... band was firing

NJA felt like an expansion/maturation of that sound to me but I def understand preferring Dirty. No Son of Mine is in contention for their best live track to this day

NJA is a lot heavier/intense to my ears, TBD is a bit more "fun"

Every time I think about doing an ETID ranking my brain short circuits lol. The only thing I know for sure is that my favorites are Radical, NJA, or TBD... really depends on the day lol.

Last Night and Hot Damn are probably my bottom 2.
