lol yeah part of it might be that i played the shit out of nja when it came out but revisiting their records i just don't like it as much as the rest. i also got a soft spot for gutter phenom and big dirty from middle/high school days

i think they hit a unique sound on big dirty that they dont ever hit again... it's their most "southern" sounding. got the best grooves, funniest and most memorable lyrics from Keith imo... band was firing

NJA felt like an expansion/maturation of that sound to me but I def understand preferring Dirty. No Son of Mine is in contention for their best live track to this day
