honestly that's the entire appeal of this album, it gives off that feeling of being in an extreme state of depression and not being able to take care of yourself. Listen to the guy, he just sounds so done with everything throughout this thing.

IIRC, he attempted suicide at some point between this album's release and now. can't remember exactly when, my concept of the passing of time has been fucked since Covid. Maybe about a year and a half ago if I had to guess? Adds a bit more gravitas here imo.
