I thought this was rap. It's more like the eels on too much acid

Happy I came across it today. This was the best first listen I've had in a year or two

Damn, this sounds like Quebec era Ween. Not that I'm complaining.

I know I'm a year late but people need to talk about this album with me. After listening to it for two days straight, I almost 5d it

I feel you, theres something really exciting about the whole experience. Travis feels like a close friend just having fun yet catching lightning in a bottle with the simplest of 808's. Sound is cold, elegant, but all around chill in a way that you thought only existed in your head when it doodles.

In my heart his masterpiece will always be Oblivion Access, but this here is just as special. Go jam Third Side of Tape if you want to maybe feel the odd genesis of how we got here.

Yesterday I did a lot of reading and learning about his trajectory as an artist. Very interesting stuff I have heard of most of his other projects but never listened. I've got some homework to do.

“ It's more like the eels on too much acid”

I think this is exactly what I said when this came out! It sounds like a boozier, more psychedelic Electro-Shock Blues

What’s funny is that I never got into his rapping albums? Idk I just don’t vibe with them, but this, oh this hits me at my core. Is Third Side of Tape really like this?

I haven't tried them yet but I will. With how hard this hit me. Tough to believe I'm going to like anything else more

Maybe I will try Oblivion Access again

I'm really excited for his next album, the singles have been great

Third Side of Tape is a chaotic chilled out psychedelic sprawl, imo it feels like the kind of freeform fun he'll eventually focus here

Go put on your headphones / earpods, put your shoes to your feet and walk outside whilst listening to VPN, it'll all click

I'm with you Gyro, except there may be a slight disconnect between my rating and opinion... possibly forgot to update

I remember this being interesting anyway, if not entirely, consistently engaging

...in May I said this was better than most things released this year, so actually maybe a 3.0 is about right, idk

Like maybe 1 or a few songs in this style would be cool, but the whole album sounds too samey to me

This entire album as a whole is such an experience and def not samey at all when you listen a few times, best when listened all the way through too

When Porcelain Slightly finally hits... phew

But to each their own I guess
