BLUEEEEEEEEEE
I love that the last two minutes just descend into almost post metal territory. They could’ve ended the song at the like the 3 minute mark and it would’ve been fine but im so glad that they extended that outro. It’s one of my favorite moments on the entire EP. Forced to Stay is similar in that regard.

If it's even in the same ballpark as Blinding Faith I'll be happy. That song absolutely fuckin crushes

I'll randomly get that ending riff of Permanent stuck in my head like once a week

Knocked Loose's guitar tone on that Dennis Reynold's shit.
"I can go lower..."
New song slaps. It's meant to get you pummeled in the pit.

New song is real good but honestly a bit weaker than Blinding Faith and the upon loss singles. The second drum and bass verse was the clear highlight. A little worried too many riffs and drum patterns are being recycled ad nauseum but I'll take it for now. Very glad to see them incorporating more choruses and focused song structures.

Digging the new song but Upon Loss was their peak in my opinion

This was their peak by a wide margin. This EP is such a masterpiece I doubt they will ever top it. The Upon Loss singles were pretty good but not as good, and the new songs are cool but nowhere near the quality in here. I'm interested to see how they fit into the whole album though. They seem to be keen on experimenting a bit more

Agree with all of that. I’m actually very interested to hear the Poppy song.

New song fuckin floors it. Not as good as Blinding Faith but still sick. Can't get enough of that snare tone
|
| |
Yeah the pingy st.anger snare is probably the best part about these new tracks lol. Also hard agree on wanting to hear the Poppy feature, I sincerely hope we get a healthy amount of atmosphere, experimentation and variety on this full-length.

snare tone alone is worthy of a +0,5 to the future note
