the end of As It Never Was is a pretty cool little hommage to Nocturne: Lost Faith. basically identical riffs and lyrics "you give me no faith" vs " "I lost faith in you"

Hell yeah. The music alone was enough to get this up into 4.5/5 territory, but the themes that this review focuses on really pushes it higher. The overwhelming and cathartic bleakness of these tracks really fits the desperation and totality of addiction.
Greyview was awesome, but with a few forgettable tracks. This is such a perfect package - hope they can keep this level of emotional impact up for the next full length.
