i don't think Love Is Dead is over-hated. If you'd let the first two albums sink in and then you listen to the third, it just feels less layered, less inspired, and more polished for the sake of the general public

Biggest problem with Love is Dead to me is that it's their only record without a 'classic' track. I can forgive missteps and filler if there's at least one knockout (let's be honest, this band has never been amazing, we come for the killer singles).
Debut gave us "The Mother We Share," Every Open Eye had "Leave a Trace" and "Clearest Blue," now we're delivered possibly their best yet with "How Not to Drown." Hasn't left my head since I first heard it, that chorus is crack.
