Falling in love with this at the moment. Never been a huge Leprous fan but this hits the right spot for me. Silhouette is sooooo much fun.

The Shadow Side is one of my favorites on here as well, that solo is just just pure greatness

On hold is now probably my fav song from these guys, theres some of this album i dont like. Some of the shorter songs for example but when the high points outweigh the lows.

The layering and subtleties on this album make it an absolute joy to listen to. Each listen brings forward new elements, and it just gets better every time I hear it.
Having had the first three singles on repeat prior to the album's release, I had to take them out of the mix for a bit to really grow an appreciation for the other 7 songs.
I get that some people don't like the direction Leprous have gone, but I think this style suits them so well.
Standout tracks for me are "All the Moments", "On Hold", "Castaway Angels" and "Nighttime Disguise", but, honestly, every track is excellent.

Running Low, Have You Ever?, On Hold and Nighttime Disguise for me take the cake

There is 0 song on this that misses the mark for me. A few songs feel maybe a tad too similar but they're all at least very good. Nighttime Disguise could've been the highlight but I wish they kept the heavy momentum going a bit more.

it took me a few songs to get used to the vocals since i haven't heard this band before, but by the end i was really into it

Yeah vocals can be annoying at times. He's a great singer but sometimes I wish he'd tone down the epic falsetto climax shtick. I wish we'd actually get to hear him try other things.
I love his softer vocals on this though the actual melodies he writes are so spot on.

Decent, i think newbies may struggle more than those who understand the context of this album more with regard to their evolution over last 2-3 albums.
I find the use of his voice irritating sometimes, not his voice, but the use of it, often a little too softly, just that little too smooth. Almost like an annoying faint brush of a finger on your back and you're like damn it rub it properly!
Music wise, I think some more punch here and there would of helped the album.
Given it even more dynamics with maybe 2 tunes that rocked a tad bit harder.

Yeah I love all the softer songs on this but maybe just one more track that slaps a little would've balanced things out a bit. They're all pretty much excellent though so it's not that bad.

The last three songs are so good

the album has a good flow and interesting musicianship, the bass and drums here are very well blended, but, on other hand, the songs are too centered on the einar's vocals, which sound a bit melodramatic sometimes. it's like einar had singing to a the voice/eurovisio contest

This is still so good, like the trimmed tracklist, kind of tired of bands that have fifteen songs on a record these days
