I dont like it when People want a band to make "another" of their most known or acclaimed work. By the singles i know this wont be a Sunbather pt 2 but hopefully its a work that can stand strong on its own

I mean I’m not handing out a 5 for the hell of it. I have RtJ, OCHL and NB a 3.5, 3.5 and 3 respectively. But yeah this and sunbather are 5’s

I think many of you will be surprised when you hear the deep cuts here.

Honestly the singles sucked so hard they put the expectations in the ground. Talk about some deeper redeeming moments.

Judging by the singles alone this will easily land between a 3.5 and 4 but i cant wait to hear the rest

All 3 singles are my top listened to of the year according to my Apple Music playlist so I guess I was a sucker for those alone. And then the deep cuts just really sent this straight onto a 5 for me. Lol. It’s a lot heavier than you might think and George Clarke’s vocals are absolutely stunning. Many of the guitar riffs haven’t been touched and done in such a way since sunbather. It just sounds like the album I’ve wanted them to do since Sunbather. I don’t see how this could be rated any lower than RtJ, OCHL and NB. I mean we all have our own tastes but this album is tighter and way more focused than those albums. RtJ could probably be about as good if it’s production quality weren’t so terrible. Language Games on 10 Years Gone is incredible but album is kinda muddled to its detriment. The production on this album is crystal clear and sounds so good

Great record. At least its not an endless tremolo crescendo like sunbather.
