i think he's speaking more to the band's intent than what this album actually sounds like. slow, hypnotic, repetative melodies and very synth driven. vibe is immensely different to summoning ofc.

ye pretty much. they've put more influence on atmospherics as a whole rather than conventional driving instrumentation the same way summoning often use their guitars more for ambiance than purely as riff-engines.
