And don't worry, mother,
I'll blow kisses to you while the sun's going down,
Tell dad I'm alright and I'll see him around,
Maybe tomorrow
Listening to this now, Hummingbird's such a sad and beautiful song but hits like a train right now. Fuck.

Yeah, at the time of release I remember thinking how dark the lyrics were here that something really bad must've happened in his life. Now it's a new light as well.

It must have been cancer or something kept very quiet. I wish I could get into this album but it just bores me to no end. I might try again but I played it twice last year and neither time was enjoyable

"the last words he ever put to record were "this is goodbye""
Not technically true though. There's going to be a posthumous release, right?
|
| |
I thought it was mostly done and just needs editing work and what not, based on anat's post
|
| |
Ah, it says underway. So yeah, I guess we won't know until it's released how much of it he helped create

The older I get, the more I cling to faith in something after death, though I question how much fear plays a role in that

Some of the posts by the band prior to Ryan´s death said the album was pretty much done. To be honest I am really not ready to listen to it, I can safely say tears will be shed
Revisiting 0 and it´s nothing short of a classic. damn. Review rightly said that they have been pretty much judged following discs for not being 0 lol, but sometimes it is really the attention and emotional connection we decide also to connect to the music itself, that allows for a better judgement of the actual "quality" of a disc.

0 is incredible yeah. Phantoms and Vampire are both 10/10

0 was one of my first reviews I think, breathe in is just a classic opener

The opener is fantastic too yeah, and Anything You Need is a bit overlooked
