ok so this shit is good but doesn't feel quite as heavy and cathartic as the previous ones. the closer is a beast though
also not sure how to feel about caro here, i dig her vocals on their own but they tend to kinda "temper" colin's performance here so i'm honestly not sure if the dual vox were an idea i'd want to hear in the future as well
but it's amenra and the music is fucking good even when they're bringing their B game

wow it took me like 3 times reading about this album to ralize that it's title is not "De Doom", which wouldn't be the most off title possible for this neither

Production is top notch, nice dissonance. I think I'll like this.
For sure gonna check the rest of their discography

I think one of the reasons im so on board for the duel vocals is because Im just happy to hear Caro in general. I hope that this might stir Oathbreaker to life

I feel exactly the same. I'm just happy to hear her voice in any capacity but what I really want is more Oathbreaker

So today in wrasslin´ (yeah I know wrestling is fake blablabla) one dude (Malakai Black) debuted in a new federation (AEW) with Amenra´s Ogentroost blasting from my tv screen as his entrance theme and I think it´s one of the coolest crossover of two of my fav niches ever and yeah
fuck Amenra on national US primetime tv, I marked out
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qz_RK7Wl0tY
I am also refusing to rate this disc until it´s late Autumn/Winter, sorry

^^^ That wrestler loves this record. I wasn’t surprised if one of his songs was gonna be from this album. Awesome.

Tommy is a swell guy with a good knack for doom and gloom metal.
Well, AEW all in all is the kingdom of hipster sput music. JPEGMafia, ETID (well, the Butcher is their guitarist afterall lol), and Ghostemane all popped up at a certain point
Darby Allin´s new titantron is literally Ghostemane influenced

I kept seeing him mentioned on YT vids under amenra so figured he'd come out to something last time to. It's pretty sweet actually..they say he's a nice dude so all good as long as they don't do some fucking live mass entrance shit and get a bit of cash for him using it.

Man I fuckin' needed this album.
I'm so stoked Tommy is giving them some more exposure. He's like if Satan asked me what kind of wrestler I'd want to be.

Wrestling sucks so bad tho lolol when they grab the mic to talk they look absolutely like serious retarded ppl, which they're not, making it even scarier. I can't even imagine a dude entering with a song from this. I confess it s prob cool.

It’s pretty fucking cool. If you just think of wrestling as adult dinner theater it takes a lot of the cringe away from it and it’s just dumb fun
