Myles Kennedy is a great vocalist, I knew that from the first time I heard him. However, this still sound a lot like Creed. I'm happy they changed that a lot in Blackbird.

There's a few good tracks on here, and that's about it.

Decent album. It's like Creed with a good vocalist and a guitarist who realized what his fingers where for.

Sadly, I'm going to have to bump this down to a 3.5. It's grown off me.

The first half (through Metalingus) still rules hard. The second half is way too hit and miss for me though.

I actually thought we had a shot at making it in the popular albums chart, given how many of us were 5'ing it and digging it.

Im terrbily sorry to say that, but:
One Day Remains consisted of a lot of Creed-ish song, maybe with a bit more guitar presence and a better vocalist. Sure, this album is a notch above Creed's first three albums. Overall, the album isn't bad, but I still feel like it could've been way more diverse and detailed. However, their second album showed that they were able to do so.
If I find the time, I will probably write my own full-length review, probably we can have a decent discussion then.

Late response, but this could definitely use a review with a more negative viewpoint, so go for it.
