While Pika may have expressed it quite stupidly, he is essentially right. My music taste is so scattered by now that it is almost impossible to always someone else who enjoys the artist in question

I'm not a big live show enjoyer these days so unless I'm having fun going there with a friend I'm pretty much fine skipping on that, especially since it costs 50€. Would this concert happen at the height of my FF fandom phase half a year ago I would've definitely gone anyway though.

It was worth it every time though

50€? I payed 40 and i know some people got them for 35€
Considering the economic state and that day had three other bands open for them that is pretty decent

Btw Burton has covered Du hast by Rammstein this year, his american accent is so goofy if you are a native speaker

Yeah, that's a good way to put it.

He should try to be a little less obvious because it has been detrimental to the music quite a few times now.

Also who are these three masked and hooded demons in the video clip ?

Dino, Christian and Raymond ?

Still, the track is nice and proves that we can still expect good music coming from his side.

Thanks, Kevin. Interesting, but unfortunately quite boring. Though I give kudos to him for trying something different from FF. This is an approach I always hoped FF would pursue -> More electronics, renew their sound to match the futuristic theme. But I don´t think that Dino will try anything that can see viewed as mildly risky business wise.

The song only needed an additional chorus or bridge, or some clean vocals to be truly good.

The way it is, there's nothing wrong with it, I like the sound, the indus orientation, but it just lacks something special.

3.5 of average is really severe for an album that has zero filler songs and has so many good stuff going on.

i can kinda understand it, this was a very comfortable album for fear factory, really nothing new or unexpected on here. its a big grower but casual fans who mainly only know their old stuff arent gonna stick around long enough to let this grow on them.

The Monolith/End Of Line one-two punch to close the album is phenomenal.

Purity and End Of Line really elevate this. Album is surprisingly fun considering how much bitterness went into it. Truly the end of an era. I'll never forget hearing Slave Labor in 2004 and falling in love with this band

I feel even more bitter about Burton leaving now because the band is enjoying some kind of "hype", a recognition of their historical significance.

I saw an Obsolete vinyl in Cultura shop near where I live. And I found Recoded and Mechanize in CD too.

On a compilation called Metal Extreme, the first track was Demanufacture.

On Youtube, many people now cover their songs.

This is sad and frustrating, if people had supported the band like that earlier I'm convinced Burton wouldn't have left. Not that he left because there wasn't any money in it, but because more money and more recognition would have meant less problems less psychological torment.

Also, I've been listening to Milo's performance. He's perfect live, but I'm starting to believe it won't work (at least for me) on an album. His voice is too cold compared to Burton's.

Anyway, Fear Factory's absurd story goes on.
