though I'm slowly souring on the lion's share of their post-crowded west stuff I still think MM were the best band around for like at least two or three years. They took that fucked up punk burnout edge to such EMOTIONAL and WEIRD places. They kicked ass, a million times more than Radiohead or these nerds

Probably, the band is fairly new. But god the new one is outstanding, really consistent and interesting songs. Probably the first AOTY contender for me.
