all i take umbrage with is the statement that Royal Blood resurrected rock n roll. which implies that rock n roll died (when?) and weakly implies to me at least that it was a good thing they did that

Ye fair play. Was more intended as a reference to the wave of UK press coverage that made that very claim (that rock was dead and royal blood fixed it with their s/t), plus I thought I'd be good click bait lol. I'm not sure I'd take it as far as the summary suggests - they did a lot of repopularise the style at least on the radio at the time of their s/t, for sure, but rock never really died for those who cared to look beyond the radio.

Also if the summary implies that RB killed rock and that's a good thing, that's mb - they haven't killed it and (if they did) that wouldn't be a good thing lol
