Beyond Belief is too happy sounding for me, I like my music somber lol

After a bunch of listens I really like about half of this, and the other half is just okay. Not counting intro outro or intermission tracks.

I’m really enjoying “Celebration Song” and “Mourning Song” today. It surprised me they said Celebration was an idea from their Self Titled days. Wasn’t expecting that.

Album is good. Kind of just sounds like a lesser Young Lions to me though.

After jamming the first album again I think it's better tbh.

Die Alone is probably my favorite, Mourning Song is right behind it.

I feel like I’ll either really like or really dislike this, seems a bit marmite, gonna check now

More importantly though, how does one hold that which is absent?

Singer sounds like the guy from Emarosa if he was trying a bit too hard.

I think I like this, could see it growing a lot...

this isn't terrible but it's also not very good. absolutely nothing going on under the hood musically, just "here dude hit as many high notes as you can". it's kind of endearingly melodramatic, i mean those song titles lol

“Die Alone” is probably my favorite too. Just needed one more chorus in that one...

Bigweiner, totally agree! I like how dark that song is. Another aspect of the album that I love are the smooth transitions between songs. I love when bands do that.

Yea there isn't much going on musically, but there's some really good melody writing in a number of these songs and that's why I'm digging it so far.

Can't stop listening to this thing. I love the aesthetic they have going on as well.
