Yeah, that track caught me off guard on first listen. Reminds me of Limerent Death.

Great review btw! Dissociation is the only DEP record I haven't listened to yet, need to get on that; then I can compare.

Thanks! Dissociation is a great album. It is just as great as the rest of their discography.

Mirrorcell leaked a week ahead of release, unsure if it's true 320 but Greg has definitely let his time with Jerry Cantrell rub off on some of these songs and I'd say he wears the influence well.

runs heavy on the 90s-styled alt rock bangers on the first half and the closer is a fucking doozy.

Great to hear that it is good. It is by far one of my most anticipated albums of the year.

Mirrorcell will be up on Greg's Bandcamp at 10am PST today. And yeah, he's been doing backup vocals for Cantrell, but the two latest singles really makes it sound like he's gunning for a permanent position in Alice In Chains.

I’d be open to that.

I love Will but god damn imagine Alice with Greg in at vocals.

The new Greg Proscuitto album is good but maybe not immediate as this one though. Will give it a couple spins before I rate it.

I think it’s a bit of a disappointment compared to this but is still a fun ride. Greg is doing whatever the fuck he feels like and I am down to follow his work wherever he goes

Agree. Slightly disappointing but still really solid. All Waves to Nothing is fucking amazing though but still probably not as good as the last 2 closing tracks here. Need more listens on Mirrorcell though.

Second listen, I actually liked it more. The two halves he makes (pure rockers vs. pure atmosphere) are pretty stellar.

Honnestly half way through, and I much rather the more experimental takes on here, even if it feels more scattered. Its a very sfw altrock album so far.

Things take a turn in the second half. I think its a good balance, and by the end of the day, I'd rather him making something focused.

Reba kicks ass on the track she's featured on tbh
