Ngl, I've already been more tuned-in with new music this year than I have in quite some time. Most of 2020 was me predominantly going back to old classics, and in 2021 I feel like a kid in a candy store with this flood of new records :]

Their collab with Spectral Lore ripped face an dhas me intrigued to check this out. Is this stylistically comparable to that collab album?

this is more entrenched in bluegrass territory but it has some definite similarities

consistent quality output. Used to jam the heck out of Phobos Monolith, but I think my favorite thing he's done was his side of split of Resonance: Crimson Void. Lumineferous Aether was a jam and a half, but I think I only listened to it a couple times (gotta fix that someday). Gonna dive into this one, but so far the first track is massive.

Great album, but I would love to listen to this with a heavier, rawer production that would leave melodies intact.

Hated the mix on this at 1st but I find that after a while you kind of settle into it and things become a bit clearer. So yeah quite good.
