i just need cure and pale iris to be the only songs i dont dig and then i should be okay. i really do love blue reverie and crawl has grown on me a good bit so if the album is more like those two ill be on board



it is unfortunate that no matter what it seems unavoidable that its not going to be as good of an album as this though. was really hoping this would be the start of a really special next level run for them, but ig thats an unrealistic expectation when i've heard maybe two better albums than this in my life

New one is gonna be better than Neon and Drift, I can assure that much. A step down from this though, and Impulse and Augment are in a whole different ballpark.



Overall I predict the strongest 3.5 ever unless they pull some surprises out, JT says the non singles are better than the singles so we shall see.

The end of "Drift" the track is so damn good. Is the whole album actually bad?

Nah Drift is pretty awesome actually. JT was just boring on that album and felt like an inferior replacement to Garrison and hell even Ian.



Not to throw shade at the guy tho, he's really found his niche in this band and he was sick in TiJ. For some reason tho he was just monotonous af on Drift and Neon. Production is pretty weak on both albums too

drift is a dope album and i could totally see it being better than the new one tbh. none of the new songs touch the hypnotist, hourglass, sleeper or continuum. songwriting has not been as interesting thus far so it almost makes jt/the prod not matter
