The musicianship, the vocals, the lyrics, the style. Tbh prog is just an acquired taste of music and yes Def try it again your second listen might be better.

I didn't mean to say he's not about being funny, it was meant as analogy to Tool and how being heavy isn't really what they're about.



To Bill, being funny was a byproduct of getting his message across (ie: the bit in 3rd Eye is more profound than comedic).

This is why Bill Hicks chose it as the perfect method to reach his target North American audience who seem to have a real problem thinking for themselves.
