I just read this review and... wow!
DePlazz, man, you should definitely contribute more to sputnik! Love your writing style! :O
And don't limit yourself only to unsung classics, only to opening our eyes to le gems we haven't heard yet...
No... Please write about... EVERYTHING !!!
Will hear this album soon. In the meantime you might wanna try to explain that Van Halen reference, because I certainly didn't get it lol
you saying that the band is like an updated, better version of VH or something? :P

Thanks dude, I'd love to have the time to write more reviews.
That VH reference is a gut feeling with this record, I respect VH for their creative energy and skill but I don't always enjoy the ways they put them to musical use. Forté here takes that same kind of energy and gets it to work in a power/thrash setting.
| | | gotcha. All the more reason for me to check them out when I have the time then!
| | | So I listened to this...
OK... I may have praised your other contributions where you opened sputnik's eyes to some unsung classics, but this right here certainly isn't among them.
This album sounds like a hybrid between Exodus and Artillery, with a bit more polished production...
...which is understandable, considered that it came out a good few years later than the respective bands' peak performances.
There's certainly nothing either new or exciting here for anyone more cognizant of Thrash and/or even metal in general. Any possible slight variations from the average expectation that might be found sound like accidents, rather than intent.
Is this band buddies of yours or something? Your hyped-up tone in the review make it sound like you're servicing them. : P
