Don't tryin to be a dick breaking but most of the acts of the rap rock era commanded by wiggers with a generic macho attitude like this and limp bizkit are a fuckin joke. Not even eminem and Joe C's can save this whole thing, the lyrics were bad even for the standards of the generic USA white trash and besides instrumentation lacks of any sort of originality, even adema and crossfade have better instrumentation and those bands are bad

I'm gonna be honest, I personally liked Limp Bizkit a lot up until Chocolate Starfish. Fred was a clown, yes, but he had a much wider range of personality and was a much more authentic MC than say, Mike Shinoda was. Wes Borland was also a great guitarist and the bass could get pretty funky too, I just liked how Limp Bizkit was nu metal that was actually fun instead of bitchy and brooding. I can say the same for Kid Rock, his flow, delivery, lyrical style of egotistical boasting, it's all very akin to the style of actual hip hop MC's, as opposed to most nu metal rappers that just threw around done to death words of high school angst. I also like how Kid Rock took that whole trashy image and made it applicable to rap rock and southern rock on the same album. This is just a really fun album to me that put the "rap" back in rap rock when it was pretty much at its lowest point.

Limp bizkit has a decent instrumentation, I don't have problems with limp bizkit in that part. But durst ruins the whole thing, he's one of the worst rappers of these times, lyrics are lame as hell, his topics have zero variation, his rhymes are at the same level of wack acts like gucci mane and 50 cent, he's a fuckin sellout that has embraced some of the most aborrent trends in pop music, he profaned sanatoruim and behind the blue eyes and he always played the role of the generic wigger with null IQ and fake thug attitude. The same happens with Rock, he's a disgrace for rap rock, country and southern rock.

Saying that Fred Durst is better than Mike Shinoda is just stupid. High voltage, Kenji, With You, Forgotten, A place for my head, Slip Out The Back, Petrified, Faint, the freestyle with dj vice, like victimized, when they come for me even his weaker tracks like bleed it out, hands held high, and the ballad of bbq and ribs destroys by far everything made by twats with no brain like Fred Cunt and Kid Cock, comparing durst with shinoda is like comparing a Firecracker with a Nuclear bomb made of Uranium 238 .Mike covers a bigger varierty of topics and styles, his lyrics are well thought and elaborated using interesting metaphors and more complex words , his rhymes the 85 % are very good and his personallity is far better than the generic thug shit present in a lot of aborrent hip hop acts, he's not the better rapper ever but is an extremely consistent MC. There better acts than him like styles of beyond, aesop rock, atmosphere, eminem and a ton more but Mike is far above of aborrent rap rock acts made for wiggers, crackwhores and pseudothugs. Anways, I don't expect that U understand this, you rate with 4 lame albums made by the jonas brothers ,hellyeah, gucci mane and justin gayber and you rate with lower notes the albums of acts like godspeed you black emperor, massive attack, R.E.M, megadeth, the smashing pumpkins, sonata arctica, hans zimmer, jeff buckley, Hans Zimmer and alice in chains; that's a blasphemy.

Lol are you serious right now dude? You just listed some of my favorite artists and said I rate them with lower notes. Check again, because I'm pretty positive I gave every artist you just listed a ton of album ratings that are 4's, 4.5's, and 5's. Yes, I have some albums by those artists rated lower than some because I think those albums aren't that good. All artists, no matter how good, tpically have some shitty albums, and matter how much I love an artist, it doesn't mean I'm gonna rate every album they make no lower than a 4. I'd love for every album by artists I love to be 4/5 - 5/5 material, but if I think an album isn't very good, then I'll rate it accordingly.

Breakin, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that you should rate all the favorite albums your favorite artists with 5. I'm sayin that the amount of high notes that you gave to shitty artists is too damn high.

Also, saying that certain artists could never be rated as high as a 4 just because of the type of music they make is an incredibly biased and elitist outlook to have. And Mike sucks dude lol, I don't know what you're going on about. He's basically a cardboard cutout of the steretypical and generic image of what every middle school kid assumes a rapper is like. How does he cover a wide variety of topics? All he does is put on an accent that never varries in tone or mood, and then uses the same flow that only varries in pace to deliver shallow lyrics only about teenage angst with rhymes that are so simplistic and thin that you'd think it would have come out of a poem from an outcast adolescent's diary. He has no personality of his own, he's just a faceless projection of accessible themes that every naive depressed kid can easily identify with. No authenticity whatsoever, just a mediocre adaptation of the bare foundation of an art form.

Well, first of all the flow and the accent he manage in waiting for the end and it's goin down is different dude, also the flow in with you and wretches and kings differ a lot. Also the flow and accent that he uses in until it breaks is not the same that the one he uses in a place for my head.

Now, let's look at the lyrics. Haven't you heard kenji ? Those lyrics are very well composed, kenji lyrics aren't predictable at all and also the topic isn't accesible, tracks like break stuff and american badass who are aimed to frat boys with null IQ and pre teenagers who acts like they were thugs that came from Bronx or Compton are more accesible, cunts who haven't ever read a fucking book love that album. Also, themes != lyrical quality, he has tracks with cliche topics, I know that but he makes the right approach, his apporach is better than the used by Durst or kid rock who uses fuck every 4 seconds or employs a vocabulary used by people with an obvious lack of intellectual or emotional depth. I prefer the lyrics of this " adolescent outcast" than at least has some meaning, some artistic merit and more coherence than the stupid rhymes of dumb people that want to act like they were tough men .

Mike is a rapper with a normal aesthetic that differs of most of the mainstream rappers who a lot of the time have a predictable aesthetic, behavior, arrogance .Durst and rock tried to act like they were a white version of DMX, their whole image was the typical image of a white kid tryin to be accepted by black people and the latins of bronx, they are at the same level of gucci mane, mac miller, lil wayne and wiz khalifa. Fred cunt and Kid cock are just a shallow act to caught the attention of the lowest forms of intelligence, They used generic resources like tunned cars, cheap hookers and an army of scumbags who act like they were goin to take the downtown of a rival band, mike shinoda didn't use those resources, visually he has a more elegant and varied presentation of his material.

I wasted 5 seconds of my time writing this shit, please men, seriously face, they suck dick. And please change the rating of the jonas brothers, nicki minaj and the justin beiber material, you're not a 12 year old girl and you have to realize that the music of those guys will makes lower your IQ.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not denying that this is a stupid album, and I'm not claiming that Fred Durst and Kid Rock portray any intelligence in their music whatsoever, because it's not like they're trying to. It's just an imbeciles way of having kickass fun the way I see it. I don't take it seriously and pan it for not having much depth or importance in its meaning because I know I'm not supposed to. It's not like the best music is only the kind that stimulates our brains, I mean I prefer listening to music like that a lot of the time, but I'm up for stuff like this as well. I really think you're taking it a little too seriously and over-hating it dude. I'm not trying to tell you what to like, don't think that, but don't tell me how to rate and what I should rate albums as. You act like I'm giving them 5's, I'm not being a 12 year old girl when I do that, I'm giving my honest opinion. I'm just saying that I think you're letting your personal bias get in the way and you aren't being fair to different types of music.

Dude, I like a lot of shit that here and in a lot of circles people hates, power metal, melodic metalcore, nu metal, goth rock, new wave, synth pop, indie rock , post grunge, adult oriented rock, and rock pop acts that many people considiered bad, I even gave the opportunity to some dubstep and deathcore acts. The problem is that the thug wigger shit made by this 2 jerks is a pain in the ass , the same goese kottonmouth kings, zebrahead, hollywood undead, Insane clown posse and more bands.

Well hey, we all have our own likes and dislikes. I personally think that guys like Kid Rock and Insane Clown Posse gets worse raps than they deserve, but to each his own dude. Though I think everybody can agree that Hollywood Undead is fucking atrocious lol.

this album remains a guilty pleasure, looking back Kid Rock really stayed true to his roots and style.. He didnt try to be darker and heavier than Korn or be a nu-metal novelty like Limp..

Old school hip hop with some classic rock and a good time attitude.
