thoughts on this album:
- i know pete is not the best guitar player but glad he stepped up his game to the best of his abilities here. north corridor was way too basic.
- this is probably a top 3 chevelle album behind sci fi crimes and la gargola
- self destructor is a top 5 chevelle song.
- ghost and razor reminds of opiate era tool.
- somehow they made several very repetitive songs enjoyable.
- good times.

This one fell off hard for me. Haven't listened to it in weeks.
Still like it, but the only other Chevelle album that was like that for me was North Corridor.

For just two dudes jamming away in a room with a laser light show going on, that music video was actually pretty neat
I had been meaning to watch it and kept forgetting about it. Thanks for mentioning it

“Damn, seems they’ve broken the 3.8 curse...for now“
That makes no sense. Just because they are a 3.8 band doesn’t mean they have a 3.8 curse. La Gargola and WWN are both 3.9 avg just like this one.

my brother always loved Chevelle, they were one of our first 'heavy' bands growing up. he's dying of COVID right now and Endlessly, whether or not it's intended to be about saying goodbye to a loved one, is hitting me like a truck
Well, I never thought of cutting you loose
And I never mind to carry you
'Til the final curtain ever does fall
I'll say goodbye, you're calling to

That sucks
It's kinda nuts how Covid can hit some ppl way harder than others. I had it back in January. It wasn't pleasant and some of the effects lingered for a long time after I did my quarantine, but it never got bad enough to go to the hospital
