Even the album art is bad.

White on red is the ugliest color scheme possible.

Welp I didn't think this would be quite as awful as Sput was making it out to be, considering I didn't dislike most of the singles... but damn this really is bad

FYM might actually be one of the worst songs I've ever heard

Hurts to think this is the same band that put out Common Courtesy, which is one of my favourite albums ever. Out of the singles I only really liked Resentment. Then on the album the only new song worth listening to is Last Chance to Dance, but that's only because it's heavy.

Also, the mixing is no better than Bad Vibrations in my opinion. At least Bad Vibrations had a lot of songs that would have been very decent had they been mixed properly, but this album just falls flat.

Slapped on a 1.5, blew this album up, and walked away in slow motion.

there's so many points on here where i hear a half-good idea and think "yes please please go with that instead" and then they fall back into their alt-schlock for another several minutes

horrific

Yeah, this is a 1. I'm devastated.

This used to be my favorite band in the world man. Homesick started it all for me and is probably the biggest reason I even have an account on here. Back when I was a lurker in 2010 and just getting started with my passion for music, I never understood why I didn't make an acc because I wanted to 5 Homesick so badly. Funny how times change.

I went back and listened to Common Courtesy, and it made me even more depressed about this whole situation. How could a band who wrote songs like City of Ocala and Right Back At It Again put out something that even the members of Imagine Dragons would find abysmal... Ugh.
