Demi God ain't even the worst song on this album let alone their worst song ever lol. I actually find that it has one of the more interesting atmospheres on here.

@karpat - Johnny Booth is another band to check out. Their newest album Firsthand Accounts is fantastic.

"Jeet elaborate on that please. I'm craving some good metalcore but spotify recommendations just doesn't cut it. I'd appreciate some tips"

Good metalcore coming out? I mean right away DSHS has an album coming out so there's one right there xD

Enjoyed a listen through of this today, not nearly as good as AOGHAU, but don’t understand the hate. Don’t y’all love the new bmth? This is just radio metal and the strings/electronics gave a nice backdrop.

Oh don't get me wrong, this is infinitely more enjoyable than Amo. TTS has like 3 good songs and I honestly can't even remember what the other garbage surrounding them sounds like.

Yes, and if we are just talking about anything within the past year, 2020 really stuck out to me as a great year. Invent Animate Polaris and currents consumed so many hours of my life and a ton of other stuff.

Damn, I'm dissapointed at the poor reception this is getting but it's totally understandable. I really dig this album for what it is. Like others have said it's very similar to That's The Spirit, an album I also enjoy quite a bit. This obviously isn't as good as All Our Gods, LF/LT or Holy Hell but I feel like they would have got slammed for making the same album again if they made a similar one to those albums. Every song on this album except Flight Without Feathers, Meteor and Demi God is at least enjoyable to me.

now imagine how jarring its going to be listening to some of the stuff here back to back to lets say Hollow Crown or Gone with the Wind

I don’t personally find this that similar to TTS. I realize you would put them in the same genre, but this is way more butt rocky. Bmth at least leans more heavily into pop and electronic elements and has diversity.

I didn’t find this album to be offensive, it just provides almost no reason to come back to it. It’s practically the same song over and over again. It also really fades on the back half. They could basically cut 6 tracks from this and they would have been better for it.
