I think I listened to this record like 15 times before it sounded like something more than background noise. I couldn't tune into it immediately and after enough listens some of the riffs and melodies have replayed themselves in my head and then I got hooked. Not an easy listen but I wasn't all that attentive the first several times I jammed this.

It’s complex music but it’s not THAT inaccessible? 15 seems like a lot!! I guess you notice more each time but it’s pretty inviting really. There’s post metal that’s harder to get into than this imo. And yeah YoYo the sound on this is so natural and clear, it’s like sitting with the band in a small room. You can hear the natural resonance of each instrument
