It's unreal how good upside down is compared to everything else. Sounds really smooth and emotive without being over the top, and then you switch to something like nightmare or love and chemistry and all of a sudden you're listening to a really generic angsty emo album with major boy band appeal

Would never usually listen to something like this, and yet this album popped up on a 'new metal releases' site for last Friday. Gave it a go because 2021 has started with an absolute trickle for new music and I wanted something to get me through the first hour of work.
Glad I did, because what a pleasant surprise. The second half in particular absolutely slaps. Heard a lot about 'emo rap' recently and this is the best thing i've heard that could be described as it.
