>How would torrenting not have that issue, having no seeders and too many leechers results in the same problems
if theres one guy uploading and dozens+ trying to get it... the protocol itself makes it that you're seeding what you have already downloaded while trying to download the rest (unless you're an absolute cunt and blocked seeding altogether) so it would be exponentially faster
one seed is giving some pieces each to a number of leeches. and then every leech is acting like a seed for those pieces
thats one of the biggest advantages of bittorrent

Historically I've had vastly more frustrations with torrents than with slsk peer to peer
They've both let me down but torrents have let me down far more.
|
| |
yea i know what u mean
im just saying this particular situation is something the protocol itself was fundamentally built to kind of try to avoid

phero i opened that to listen later im listening to some nerds banging on random shit agian atm
|
| |
bet those nerds are from the 90s
|
| |
the one phero linked is! although technically some of it was recorded earlier
the one i was listening to when i made that post was not from the 90s at all
|

In that case it proves that we all think you only jam 90s stuff when you actually don't lol
|
| |
"that's the one, website has a nice ominous message on it rn rip"
what.cd became redacted.ch. it's basically the same exact website. I'm on it but I don't have enough clout to send out invites. Gotta maintain a certain upload to dl ratio and I hardly ever upload.

youre probably thinking of zak :]
|
| |
Nah zaka listens to a decent amount of new releases.
The only one that I can think of that could be more related to the 90s than yourself is the Doof.
