I pos'd but have some feedback. Like others have said, this has the structure of an extremely interesting review without getting into the nitty gritty of specific examples and doesn't actually paint a picture of what the album sounds like. That being said, it brings up some extremely interesting broad strokes and I actually agree with it. When I heard the single version of Sunglasses, I was intrigued from the hype but upon listening to the the album version I was annoyed. This does seem like essentially a giant virtue signal of "I dig this too-cool band that nromies would never" when they really aren't saying anything at all. Hell, Sunglasses is basically just "Love It If We Made It" for people who hate having sex. Keep up your writing, it's great.

I don't subscribe to every point here but the central idea that this band is sort of lifelessly running through a bunch of "cool, experimental" signifiers puts it well. I wish this record were bold enough that I could actively hate it. Just boring
